Here we go again....

I am a few months behind now! But you are such a busy boy now that I don't have as much time to sit and write. :) You are into everything these days! You aren't crawling quite yet, but you are so close. Instead you spin yourself in circles and roll to whatever item you want. It is adorable. You even wrapped yourself up in a blanket the other day while rolling across the living room.

You say mama now and I love it! You started that around 8 months. And you don't just say mama and dada, you actually know who we are if we ask you. You have three teeth now with three more ready to break through any day now! You love exploring and analyzing your toys. You especially like ones that play music or have parts that you can spin. You love to play with a ball with your daddy. You are still quite the talker and love squealing when happy! Your favorite shows right now are Sesame Street and Super Why. You still love bath time and your rubber ducks. And you still love daddy flying you around the house. You are doing a great job feeding yourself pieces of food like chicken, veggies, snacks, cheerios, etc. You also do great at using your sippy cup! You are growing so fast and I don't like it!!!!!!! This first year is flying by. We've experienced so much already and you have traveled a lot too. You even have a new cousin now! Your daddy and I talk every night after you go to sleep and say how you are the best baby ever. You amaze us every day and always bring a smile to our face. You smile a lot too!! Always have. People call you Mr. Happy. Daddy and I call you Crazy Legs Caleb because of the way you are always kicking your legs around. I will add some pictures from the last few months. I always remember that we prayed for you and we love you more than you could possibly imagine. I thank the Lord every day for allowing us to be your parents. We love you, Caleb Ray!

 

 

Catching Up...Again!

Well, Caleb, you have kept me pretty busy! I will try to keep it short and just catch up. You are almost 7 months old now! I can't believe it!!!!!!!! You are changing and learning more each week. It is amazing. You hit 6 months and you suddenly became so much fun! You also started sleeping better once we switched you to soy formula. I bet the sleep helps you be more fun. :) Your daddy is really loving how active you are now. You laugh and smile whenever you see one of us. It's great! Here are your monthly pictures to catch up:

We also went to RI again a few weeks ago to see family with your Auntie, Tori, and Lucas. Uncle Kenny showed up and surprised us!!! It was so much fun and everyone loved seeing you and spending time with you. And we got to be there for Easter.

You started eating solid food around 5 months and seem to enjoy everything you try! Right now your favorites are sweet potatoes, peaches, and bananas. But you have also had applesauce, squash, peas, carrots, green beans, pears, and prunes. You say dada all the time now. Probably since around 5 1/2 months or so. Daddy loves it. I'm still waiting for mama. :) You also got your first tooth at 6 months!!! You have your second one ready to come any day now. You really like toys that play music. You are doing really well with your hands. You can pass things back and forth between hands and even put your pacifier in your mouth by yourself! You are just one amazing kid and I feel honored to be your Mommy! Well I have to go, you will be waking up from your nap any time now. Love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting so big!

I can't believe how big you are getting!!! You are already almost 4 months old. Doesn't seem possible. You have such a great personality for a baby your age. You have started to laugh and it melts my heart every time. You smile at Daddy and me all the time. And we love it!!!!!! You are also very smart and very strong. The faces you make are adorable and hilarious. We just went to visit your family in Rhode Island for your first Christmas!! They didn't want you to leave. Everybody loved you so much! For Christmas, Daddy and I went to Build-a-Bear and built you a teddy bear. We want you to have something that we made together specifically for you. We name him Moto Moto from the movie Madagascar 2. I'll explain it all to you some day. :) Well you are napping right now in your swing but will probably be waking up any time now. When I was holding you today and you fell asleep on my chest, it made me a little sad to think that you would outgrow this. So everyone once in awhile, come and snuggle with your Momma. I love you so much, Caleb Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!

Catching up

Well kiddo, you keep me quite busy these days so I haven't had time to write in awhile! You are getting so big!!!! Daddy and I can't believe it! You are also forming quite the personality. You have learned how to fake cry. It is amusing. You also learned how to pout this week. It is too cute! You smile at us now too and we love it. You recognize us and will smile when you see us. I love that you know who your Momma is! Another thing you like is when Daddy lifts you up in the air and walks around the house. It is one of the only things that calms you down. It's amazing. I will have to get a picture of it! You are finally starting to form a schedule at night. You go to bed between 10 and 11 and sleep for 4-5 hours, eat, and then go back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. I can't wait till you skip that nighttime feeding! But I love you dearly!
